Albas Gege Marubi

When we say Albanian photography, we mean the Marubi Dynasty, which started with Pjetër Marubi, in the second half of the 19th century, continued with Kel Marubi and ended with me, Gegë Marubi, in 1984. Raised among photographic art, equipped with a European culture and specializing in the art of modern photography, I tried to be a worthy successor of this dynasty. What gives me pride is that by creating our photo archive, I left the "Marubi" photo library to the generations, a priceless asset, where our history of almost 120 years is engraved.
