Albas Michelangelo

He was born in Kapreze on March 6, 1475. Admirers say that his fate was marked by the union of the planets Mercury and Venus on that starry night. From a young age he learned from the works of great Italian artists, such as Girlandaio, Bruneleschi and Leonardo da Vinci among others. He also passionately studied the classical culture of ancient Rome and Greece. Thus, his sculptures such as Mercy or the famous David, his frescoes of the Sistine Chapel and his architectural projects carried the greatest splendor during the Renaissance. His long life, - he died eighty-nine years old - allowed him to create without rest and to achieve his greatest ambition: to be the greatest artist in the History of Art.
