Albas The last of the Kastriots

The children's novel "The Last of the Kastriots" sheds light on a tragic event in the history of Albania, which is very little known by the Albanian reader. In 1481, after he grew up and became a man, Gjon Kastrioti decided to return to Kruja to organize an uprising, with the desire to continue the exploits of his father, the glorious Skanderbeg. How will his efforts to free Albania from the Turkish yoke continue, in the new circumstances that have been created in the country, fifteen years after his father's death? The writer Bedri Dedja, relying on the fable and the subject of the work with the same title, written by Andon Frashëri, built on its skeleton a new work, which he gave the form of a children's novel.
